Founded in 1986, Dongguan Wanfeng Vegetable Co., Ltd mainly deals with purchasing vegetables & fruits and exporting to Hong Kong. Benefiting from our Party’s preferable policies and the opening policy, we have developed into an integral high-grade and large-scale vegetable company only in short seventeen years. Today’s Wanfeng possesses a huge turnover, wide radialization and a vegetable production base. 　　With 130 employees and 4 transporting vehicles, there is a farm-product circulating department, an unpolluted vegetable production base with 400 mu and a fruit farm with 400mu under Wanfeng Company. Besides, we have 6 shops with an area of 400 sqm in Shijie Vegetable Wholesale Market. In 2002, Wangfeng exported 2.05 tons of vegetables and 200 tons of fruits and achieved the annual sales of RMB 60,190 thousand Yuan. Mr. Wang Zhiming, the juridical person of Wanfeng, is director of Shijie Vegetable Association and member of Shijie Chamber of Commerce. 　　During the past seventeen years of development, we have always being emphasized in circulation and integral operations. Besides, we adopt the industrialization mode of “Company+Farmer+Base”. 　　Ⅰ. We introduce the modern management and joint stock system that keep our company developing. At the very beginning, we adopted family operation method, while, after seventeen years of development, when we have a huge operation and a certain amount of asset accumulation, we hold meetings timely to discuss the further development plan, which is to adopt stock operation system based on clear property. As a result, we officially organized Dongguan Wanfeng Vegetable Co., Ltd early this year. At the same time, we established a complete management institutions and financial system for the three farms, which enables Wanfeng to develop in a sustainable, steady and healthy way. 　　Ⅱ. We realize that we should supply the fresh and high quality vegetables to Hong Kong market. Thus, aside from the local vegetables, we expand our operations to over all the country. Up till now, we export over 40 varieties of vegetables purchased from Zhanjiang, Guangxi, Shandong, etc to Hong Kong, which greatly meets the market demand. At the same time, we alter our circulating operation method and replace the former one with the integral operation method with combination of production, supply and selling. Setting up the wholesale markets in Hong Kong enables our operation to be flourishing. 　　Ⅲ. Persisting in integral operations, we promote the agricultural industrialization on the basis of “Company+Farmer+Base”. Apart from vegetables, we also operate 400 mu of fruit farm in Gaozhou, planting litchi, longan and other 800 fruit varieties. In recent years, we have signed 1,000 mu of vegetable planting and purchasing contracts with many places including Hainan and Zhanjiang, etc. The main varieties included in the contracts are red eggplants and lettuces, etc. The more import is that such contracts can bring along 321 farmers with increased income of 1,500 Yuan for each household. For this year, with more than 400 thousand Yuan of investment and 80 new employees, we have contracted with 400 mu of the unpolluted vegetable production base in Liangjia Village of Shijie County. We are always persisting in the industrialization operation of “Company+Farmer+Base”. At present, demand exceeds supply in this base, which makes the local supermarkets to compete to purchase. Now we are applying for the “Wangfeng” unpolluted vegetable trademark and planning to spread our products to the entire city.
